Our Background

OVERVIEW

Tamara Corporation (the "Company") was founded in 2021 by Mr. Anthony Putihrai ("Mr. Putihrai"). It was established as a holding company that holds ownership over Mr. Putihrai's shares across his personal investments, and is managed as a family office investment firm. To further distinguish Mr. Putihrai's ownership, the Company bifurcated its holding structure into to main segments, Tamara Group and Alpha Putihrai Capital, whereby:

(A) Tamara Group, comprises of the Company's minority ownership over the legacy companies that were bequeathed by the late founder of the Tamara Group, Mr. Pek Teng Beng; and

(B) Alpha Putihrai Capital, was a newly formed entity that holds the Company's ownership over its investments that do not share a common set of shareholders to Tamara Group, and is actively seeking investment opportunities that are aligned with its investment theme and strategies.

While the majority of the management team in Tamara Corporation comprises of family members, its portfolio companies is staffed with non-family executives and employees, while also engaging external professional service providers to support its operations.

STRATEGY

Our investment strategy is primarily investing in growing businesses that seek to leverage on our capital, our network, and our expertise, to partner with us and/or our portfolio companies to achieve a symbiotic and attractive return on our collaboration and investment.

Tamara Corporation participates in both private and public investments, while also being open to participate through equity, debt, and/or hybrid investment structures.

We mainly look for investment opportunities that can demonstrate the following:

Market validation and market fit;
Professional, transparent, and experienced management team;
Positively impacting the economy and the community;
Well defined business model and strategy; and
Clear path to generating attractive return on our investment.
